The Prog Collective es una reunión especial convocada por Billy Sherwood que a golpe de email une a miembros ilustres del prog como Chris Squire (Yes), Rick Wakeman (Yes), Geoff Downes (Yes/Asia), Alan Parsons, John Wetton (Asia), Richard Page (Mr. Mister, vocals), Tony Levin (King Crimson/Peter Gabriel), Colin Moulding (XTC), Gary Green (ex-Gentle Giant, guitar), Jerry Goodman (ex-Mahavishnu Orchestra, violin), Annie Haslam (Renaissance - vocals) y John Wesley (Porcupine Tree), entre otros.

Me suena como a que "aprovechando que estamos todos aquí" me refiero al disco homenaje a Supertramp, Billy Sherwood haya dicho, "tengo aquí algunos temas escritos... que os parece de hacer allgo juntos" y de aquí habrá salido este The Prog collective, aunque leyendo en internet parece que se organizo de otra manera muy distinta.
